the watered flower grows in light                                                                                              sun’s warmth                                                                                                                                its life                                                                                                                                              its tiny petal hands reach up                                                                                                       towards sky                                                                                                                                    like ours in praise to God                                                                                                            keeps hope alive

Commentary:

The watered flower grows with light. Light signifies God.                                                       True spiritual understanding grows from friendship with God.                                     The sun's warmth and life is the nourishment we gain from reading his word and loving truth.                                                                                                                             The flower's tiny humble petals of hands reaching towards the sky, parallel our own reaching, seeking, pursuing, to praise the Maker of all things, the source of life and hope.
